Biography.
Inka Stafrace worked in theatre and live entertainment as a sound and lighting technician-designer for 15 years. In 2008 she left that world and her full time job at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney to pursue her expression through activist video making on a full time - altered life style basis.
In 2000 while residing in New York, Inka bought her first professional camera (Sony VX1000) and her first Final Cut Pro set up. After numerous short films, some to be found on this website the issue of Israel and Palestine captivated her interest holistically and has since been the inspiration for almost all her productions. Starting with the feature documentary and highly contested Hope in a Slingshot completed in 2008 and updated in 2010, to the work in progress of Finger Pointing to the Earth 2011 Inka has focused her energy largely on the Israeli and Palestinian situation.
Inka is a passionate supporter of ground-up movements and writes articles and blogs for various publications.
